Meet the Spring 2013 CIFE Intern!

Bernardo Gonzalez 
CIFE – Berlin, Germany

Bernardo Gonzalez of Toluca, Mexico is a junior at Texas A&M studying international studies with a focus on politics and diplomacy.  He is also pursuing minors in French and German.  Bernardo has been very active in the student sector of the Mexican Institute of Finance Executives (IMEF). He is also a member of UNICEF where he helps in fundraising.  He has spent a year in Paris, France, learning French and going to conferences with Education First.  Every summer, Bernardo goes back to Toluca and works as an intern with TrelleborgVibracoustics, where he organizes paperwork and English classes for the engineers.  While working for CIFE this spring, Bernardo hopes to gain real international experience and to perfect his German. Bernardo would like to take this experience and use it to better the international politics in the United Nations in the future.  Bernardo would like to promote diplomacy as a means of resolving conflicts.
