Don't Forget to Backup Your Data

Life lessons can come from harsh experiences, and while I am saddened by the involvement, the fun I had in Washington DC is still here. I have had a wonderful time exploring Washington DC and the surrounding areas. There is so much to do around here, almost every day I go out and explore new shops, museums, nature, and people. I have made friends with students at both Georgetown University and University of Maryland, and have even joined some clubs. I have taken hundreds of photos since my time here. There is so much to see and so much to capture. From the beautiful fall leafs to the historic landmarks, I was taking so many photos. Then, disaster struck my phone during an update malfunctioned forcing a reset back to my last backup. The last time I backed up my phone was right before I left for Washington DC, causing me to lose over 500 photos during my trip.  I was obviously devastated, the only photos I had left during my trip where the ones I have sent my parents and friends. These are the lessons I learned:
  1. Backup my phone every month
  2. Pictures are great but don’t stress over them to much
  3. Enjoy the experience
While this does put a hamper on my trip, my experiences are still with me and I am still having a great time exploring Washington DC.  What is your favorite picture that you have taken in the past month?
